Hi there!

My name is Celeste Cortés and I´m 38 years old. I´m from Corrientes but I´ve been living in Ushuaia from almost 14 years.

I´m a proud single mother of two girls. One of them is 15 and the other is 9. You can be sure that we are a great team! 

I´m not going to cheat you that I always wanted to be an English teacher since it is not true.
Many years ago, I was studying to become an accountant, however, life significantly re-directed my way.
After delivering my first baby, I had to return to my home city. Once there, I started working in an English institute as a secretary. Nevertheless, I couldn´t deny that there was something inside me that had been awaking. I found myself many times preparing flashcards for the head to give her classes and I was usually attentive to her teaching although I was working in the next room.  But, the most attractful thing for me was her way of teaching. I really loved her classes.
Fortunately, Silvia was able to realize how interested I was in teaching and she offered me to teach children of 7 and 9 years old. There, I was able to discover that teaching is one of my passions.
Two years later, I moved to Ushuaia.  To my fortune, I had the opportunity to work in an English institute, and later,  at schools.
For this reason, I decided to start my trainee course to become an English teacher in order to give my students my best.
At the present time, after many years of hard work, I´m starting the practicum period to become an English teacher. I think it´ll an enriching experience since I´ll continue learning significant aspects about teaching and about each group of students I will work with.
But, the most valuable thing is that I´m sure I´ll enjoy the journey!
